- It’s better to go with a guide because it makes it easier to locate the places of interest. We were accompanied by two guys who were working at the Kotmale Holiday resort where we were staying.

It was a two day trip to beautiful Kotmale with its lush greenery, paddy fields and mountains and more importantly because Kotmale is steeped in history and tales of the past making it a very interesting place to visit.
