| Route | From Colombo took the highway exit before Galle and took Matugama Pelawatte Road about 75 Km to Neluwa from Neluwa 20 Km to Lankagama. The hotel is just opposite Bharmaha Waterfall. |

We started around 5.30AM from Colombo. We were 15 in the team 4 girls and 11 boys. Had to pick up every one and when we left Colombo it was around 6.15AM. We took the Southern Express highway. We exit from Welipanna exit point and traveled along Matugama Pellawatte Road about 75 Km. to Neluwa. 20 Km from Neluwa to Lankagama the place is just opposite Bharmaha Waterfall. The road from Neluwa to the hotel is narrow and condition is bad but managed to take the van all the way to the hotel.

One the way we had our B’fast and started towards Neluwa. Around 1.30 we reached the hotel. The lunch was ready by the time we reached there. Immediately went to the room changed our selves and came back to have lunch and to start the hike. First day went to Brahmana Ella and had a bath. The place is very safe but the route is slippery. Keep an eye open for leeches since there it rains frequently and leeches are very common everywhere. We used පැඟිරි Oil for leeches so we were safe and that worked too.

It was around 5.30PM we returned from the place. We had a BBQ night outside the dinning area.
Following day early morning used a tractor to go into the forest. Have to leave early to see white monkey and other species. It was a great experience going on a tractor. After spending about 3 hours in the forest we came back and marched to Doovili ella and had a great bath there. The track to the fall was amazing and quit a thrilling walk.

Spend the time there and came back for lunch and left the place around 3.00PM via Galle.

Overall the experience was speechless. That was my first time to Sinharaja and will definitely go again. This place is good for relaxation and hiking.
